I’m an advocate for supporting local coffee shops and there’s nothing better than meeting at cool venues to enjoy a coffee & a chat with friends & colleagues… BUT… Have you worked out how much the takeaway coffee’s are costing you each year? Read my own horror story below!

To avoid the Bad Office Coffee do you buy takeaway coffee instead?
How many hours do you have to work to pay for all those takeaway coffees you buy each year?
I spent over 30 years working in offices. In the earlier years I didn’t know any better (I just pressed the button for extra sugar to mask the awful taste of the machine ‘coffee’). However, when the Coffee Culture took off I was queuing up for takeaway coffee’s from local barista’s to avoid the distress of #BadOfficeCoffee and to satisfy my need for decent tasting caffeine fixes.
To get me through the working day I bought at least 2-3 cups of takeaway coffee’s every day… Monday through Friday… for at least 9 years working in London…
… London coffee prices are between £2-£3… so I would have spent over £16,000 on takeaway coffee’s during those 9 years… as a higher rate UK taxpayer I had to earn over £27k to pay for those coffee’s which means that I would have worked for nearly half a year just so that I could avoid Bad Office Coffee !!!
You can enjoy delicious barista-style coffee at your desk and save your $$$’s by keeping a portable on-the-go coffee maker in your top drawer!
